The new release of HUGIN Graphical User Interface is v5.6 and the HUGIN Decision Engine is v5.1. The main features in this release are: better support for user defined attributes on domains and nodes, sampling with conditional Gaussian distributed variables, and, better support for the tables and the table generator.
– User defined attributes on domains and nodes can be browsed using new functionality. The Hugin GUI now supports attributes on nodes.
– Sampling of conditional Gaussian distributed variables based on the inserted and propagated evidence is now supported by the Hugin inference engine. Samples can be generated directly from the structure of the Bayesian network or from the junction tree structure.
– Tables for discrete chance nodes and utility nodes can in the Hugin GUI be copied and pasted between nodes with tables of the same dimensionality.
– The number of values for each interval parent node used when generating the table of a child can be specified through the Application Programming Interface to the Hugin inference engine. Tables for individual nodes can be generated on demand. The generated tables are stored in the Hugin Network and the Hugin KB files in order to speed up compilation of domains.
