HUGIN-FDC implementation started
In August 2012, HUGIN Expert A/S and FDC – one of Scandinavia’s largest suppliers of IT solutions for insurance – announced their plans to collaborate to help insurance companies detect and prevent insurance fraud.
The aim of collaboration was to integrate the HUGIN software functionality into FDCs solution suite to provide existing and potential FDC customers with an efficient tool to reduce fraud.
The integration of HUGIN FDM technology into FDCs Software as Service IT platform has been tested successfully in a preliminary pilot project at a major Norwegian Insurance company. Work has now begun at the insurance company in Norway to implement the solution, and the first phase of implementation is expected to be finished in February 2013.
