The course in Denmark is our regular course where the
participants learn to master Bayesian Networks with the HUGIN
software. The course basically consists of 3 parts: construction
and usage of Bayesian networks, construction and usage of influence
diagrams, and methods for analysis of results. During the course we
also illustrate how to use the HUGIN Application Programming
Interfaces. The 3-days course combines theory with hands-on
training on how to exploit the power of
HUGIN software.
The course in Arlington, US will be held by
HUGIN and IET as a joint event. This course will consist of 2 days
introduction to Bayesian Networks and the HUGIN tool, covered by
HUGIN Expert, and 1 day for implementation training, covered by
IET. IET will walk students through the process of developing an
implementation plan using a generic example. Students will receive
a workbook to use in developing implementation plans based on
IET's Project Process Manual. Thus, students not only learn
Bayes and HUGIN but, importantly, return home with a plan for
action under their arms.
Course dates for autumn 2006:
11 to 13 October in Copenhagen, Denmark
26 to 28 September in Arlington, VA, United
States
Please note that Master students and
PhD-students can participate in the HUGIN Training Course at a
reduced price.
