To be able to cover the rapidly growing market for ecommerce, we are proud to announce that Hugin Expert A/S of Aalborg Denmark, and Netanything of Boston US have engaged in a developmental partnership.

The purpose of the partnership is to develop analytically augmented user interfaces for ecommerce applications combining the analytical resources of Hugin Expert with the ecommerce architecture of Netanything. Both Enterprise and Consumer level applications are currently under development and expected to be released for the market before Fall 2004.

Through this partnership Hugin Expert wants to strengthen its business strategy for introducing advanced decision support solutions based on probabilistic graphical models, while Netanything seeks to provide intelligence to its emerging line of ecommerce applications.

The distribution of the software is aimed at end-user and small business, and is to be carried out by a third party publisher. "By integrating knowledge management into the end-user experience, we hope to change the software landscape." states Chris Poulin, Netanything.

Initial expectations of the project include the online user’s ability to forecast the success of selling and buying strategies, as well as benefit from intelligent assistance.
