Next Hugin BN-courses
Two Hugin courses are planned for spring 2005: one in Copenhagen, Denmark and one in Arlington, Virginia in the United States.
The course in Denmark will be our regular BN-course where the participants learn to master Bayesian Networks with Hugin software. The course basically consists of 3 parts: construction and usage of Bayesian networks, construction and usage of influence diagrams, and methods for analysis of results. During the course we illustrate how to use the Hugin Application Programming Interfaces.
The course in Arlington, US will be held by Hugin and IET as a joint event. The joint course will consist of a 2 day introduction to Bayesian Networks and the Hugin tool, and one day of implementation training. Hugin will cover the first two days on the use of Bayesian networks with the Hugin tool, and IET will cover the last day on application development and implementation using Hugin. IET will walk students through the process of developing an implementation plan using a generic example. IET will provide a workbook for students to use in developing implementation plans based on IET´s Project Process Manual. Thus, students not only learn Bayes and Hugin but, importantly, return home with a plan for action under their arms.
Course dates for spring 2005:
January 18th-20th - Copenhagen, Denmark
February 8-10th - Arlington, Virginia - United States
Please note that Master students and PhD-students can participate in the Hugin Training Course at a reduced price.
