We are proud to announce that Hugin is part of Advocate II - Advanced On-board diagnosis and Control of Autonomous SysTEms II. The aim of Advocate II is to provide a complete solution for intelligent and modular diagnosis and piloting of (semi-) autonomous systems.

We are proud to announce that Advocate II - Advanced On-board diagnosis and Control of Autonomous SysTEms II - was successfully initiated on the 1st of April this year. The aim of Advocate II is to provide a complete solution for intelligent and modular diagnosis and piloting of (semi-) autonomous systems.

Advocate II is a European Union project running under the IST program (IST-2001-34508). The ADVOCATE consortium consists of the following partners grouped according to their role in the project:

Robots manufacturers and end users: STN ATLAS (Germany) - Ifremer(France) UAH (Spain)
Technology providers: GETRONICS (France) - UPM (Spain) HUGIN EXPERT (Denmark) - Ifremer (France)
Marketing and communication: INNOVA (Italy) - E-MOTIVE(France)

The project runs until the 30th of April 2005.
