Joint development of algorithms for learning the structure of Bayesian networks.

Early March 2001 Hugin Expert A/S and Siemens AG, Corporate Technologies, entered a joint technology contract. The main topic of the contract is an algorithm for learning the structure of Bayesian networks and fits very well with Hugin Expert's product strategy, which focuses on ease-of-use and automatisation. The algorithm will be one of the central algorithms in the structural learning module in future releases of Hugin Expert's BN-development environment and will be optimized and integrated with Hugin Expert's other algorithms. In the future Hugin Expert and Siemens will work closely together supporting each other in the future with consultancy, code development and services.
